Few days back, uni organized an event called The Asia Culture Festival. In order to promote this event, there were various booths set up at every corner/empty spaces of the lobby. As usual, you'll see students or even staff walking around while holding cups of bubble tea, super large packets of fried chicken and bowls of snowflakes. Hence, the empty south lobby had suddenly became so crowded and you can hardly walk.
When I was waiting for the lift, I saw this stall at the corner of the lobby. I was curious as why were there so many students crowded around that stall. As I walked closer, I got so shocked when I saw what they were selling. Tteokbokki! The Korean spicy rice cakes that I've been looking for. I've been craving for Korean snacks for quite a long time and this small cup of ttekbokki satisfied my craving. Instantly!
Since it's expensive for only a small cup, I bought one packet of rice cakes and a small packet of sweet spicy sauce so that I can try to made that at home! :D
Of all the Simple Plan's songs, this is my all-time-favourite. Perfect. ♡
Everyone's trying so hard to be a perfectionist but no one is up to that standard, yet. Right? What I realized is that, all of us were so busy chasing our dreams and we failed to notice what's really happening around us. We thought that reaching the peak of our lives are the most promising thing that we can ask for but we can be wrong sometimes. Somehow, to me, simplicity is the best part of life and that's when I feel that my life is perfect (from my perspective).
The right things may seem wrong sometimes, or sometimes the wrong things may be right at the wrong time. – Jiminy Cricket (Pinocchio)
I chose to be the one who plays for the band instead of being the main attention of the limelight. After playing for 2 years, I think this is what I want. I chose the right thing. I told myself that one day, I'm gonna stand on that stage and perform for at least once.
Music plays a big part of my life and now, I can finally say that, I did it. :)
WongFu Productions never fail to surprise me. They are good at making people laugh till they're gasping for air or tear up as the videos are so funny/meaningful yet, true. Sometimes, the reason that we are so engross in watching these videos is because the videos reflect the reality. It reflects our lives in some ways and it always reminds you of something or someone. :)
So their latest production is The Last. A simple question of "how many have you loved?" has led to a 8 minute video that is worth watching. *two thumbs up**
Way to go WongFu! You guys are seriously awesome! <3
Am supposed to continue my post on Mark's wedding ceremony but oh well, since I'm kinda lazy to upload the photos and watermark them, I'll just continue on that probably next week? :D
Sometimes, things turned out funny as I couldn't remember what I did in the morning and it was only like 12 hours ago. Can't believe that my memory capacity is getting lesser since I'm depending a lot on technology nowadays. Reminders? iPod. Notes? Phone. Lecture Notes? iPad. Assignments? Laptop. Movies and entertainment? Laptop. Can you see what I mean? Basically, it's (technology) around all of us, I dare say.
After three weeks of awesome semester break, here comes the killer weeks. Assignments, presentations, and midterms. I wonder if it's only Malaysia education system that is soooooo freaky pressuring. Or maybe Asian parents are the ones who love to pressure their kids anytime and at anywhere.
One day, if I'm rich enough, I would wanna move and live on the outskirts of town. :D
