Never A Dry Moment with NIVEA’s In-Shower Skin Conditioner

The weather these days is killing me. It is so hot and my rashes are becoming worst even though I took a dose of injection a week before Chinese New Year. I am a lazy person when it comes to applying lotions and beauty products. However, I didn't want to look dry and dehydrated during Chinese New Year. Thus, I dragged myself to apply my body lotion on a daily basis. My skin was gradually getting better but sometimes, I was rushing to work/classes and I forgot. =________=

We apply hair moisturiser to keep our hair soft and smooth but somehow, some of us (like me!) might have neglected our skin. In order to take better care of our skin, NIVEA launched a new product called the In-Shower Body Moisturiser. The In-Shower Body Moisturiser works as a kind of hair conditioner for your skin. It is a thick, creamy milk lotion that feels silky smooth when applied onto the skin. Most importantly, it moistures your skin for long hours.

The instructions are pretty simple.
1) Cleanse with your normal shower gel and rinse off
2) Apple NIVEA In-Shower Body Moisturiser while still in the shower
3) Rinse off the In-Shower Body Moisturiser right after you applied
4) Dry yourself, get dressed and you are ready to go!

Some of you might be wondering how can the NIVEA In-Shower Body Moisturiser be effective if it is rinsed off right away? The reason is because the product is activated by water and absords into the skin immediately. As a result, it is always better to apply during shower.

NIVEA launed a In-Shower Body Moisturiser for normal skin while the other one for dry skin. My skin is rather dehydrated these days and so I prefered the one specially for dry skin. It is enriched with almond oil and the scent is rather pleasant I would say (I dislike strong floral scent products). I got my bottle from Guardians but you can also get it from other departmental stores or pharmacies. It comes in one size, the retail price is RM16.80 for 250ml but I got it at a discounted price at only RM11.80. I have been using it for almost two weeks and I am impressed with the result. It doesn't leave sticky residues or consume a lot of time and this product is definitely a hassle-free as well as a convenient way to keep my skin moistured.

It could hardly be any simpler. If you are a lzy person like me, you will probably love this too. :)

Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf @ Bangsar Village II

"I will huff, and puff, and blow the whole house down." Anyone of you remember this line from our favourite childhood tale?

It is mid February and everyone is leaving again. Leon left, John left and now even Kitt is also leaving. We planned to have our farewell dinner last night at MidValley but because I was so sick of the mall (I work there for like everyday), I suggested that we go to Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf at Bangsar. It has been quite a while since I went there too. The restaurant changed quite a bit. There is a new wine rack replacing a wooden drawing of three lovable pigs. The place is pretty crowded when we got there (credits to that slow motion KTM)

The ambience is pretty good with hanging chandeliers and downlights. Moreover, there is also a lighted candle on each table. Doesn't it feel like a candle light dinner? Ermmm as for us, that would be a candle light dinner for four. =_________= If you are a wine lover, you can also pick your choice from the wine rack. The place is one of my favourites as the setting alone makes you feel welcomed and relaxed, not to mention the food. :)

The evil looking menu with the wolf on the cover page.

One of the pages in the menu that I found interesting. It reminds me of what I always say:"I will bbq you if you do this or that."

Appertizer of the night! Mushroom soup is every restaurant's signature dish. If you can't make a good mushroom soup, then it is most likely that the main dish will be only so-so as well. TLP & TBBW's mushroom soup didn't let me down. :)

We ordered one of the chef's recommendation. The Mighty Pork Burger, with its juicy pork patty, egg topped with mayo (I think) and a slice of cheese beneath it, served with fries and salad. The patty is a little salty but it blended perfectly well with the egg.

The Wolf's Favourite is another recommendation of the chef. Cabonara spaghetti served with bacon, mushrooms and topped with a pouched egg. Suk said it tasted a little bland but to me I think it tasted ohkay. The crunchy and crispy bacons are simply heaven. :D

Yesterday was definitely a perfect Friday night with great food, good ambience and awesome company. :)

Valentine's with Libresse Shine On

Yesterday was the last day of CNY/Chap Goh Mei/Valentine's. So many events in a day! So apparently, I wasn't feeling well and took half day off from work and drove to Suk's place to have a nap so that I won't be looking like a sick and unenergetic human for the interview in the evening. Just so you know, I submitted an application on behalf of Eiffel 'n Amitie as to be featured on Libresse Shine On and few months later, I have got a reply and yesshhhh! We were the lucky girls to be chosen for the interview!

Ohkay, let me write a brief paragraph on what Libresse Shine On is all about. Libresse Shine On is a platform that encourages women entrepreneurs to tell their amazing stories on how they brought their business to life and inspire other comfort zone women to stand out and chase their dreams as well. Personally, I think this is meaningful as people always think that they are too old to chase their dreams or they don't have extra time. Libresse Shine On proves you wrong. You are never too old for anything as long as you are willing to step out in faith. You can check out some of their inspiring stories here (click!).

So instead of the usual dull Valentine's, we have something better to look forward to. We went there early to get ourselves prepared and finally at 6pm, we met the two great people from McCann Erickson Malaysia. One of them is the interviewer Zoe while the other one is Chloe, the writer. Zoe has a bubbly personality and she is pretty easygoing. On the other hand, Chloe is softspoken but she has great listening skills and very patient as well. :)

Mint chocolate ice cream in progress.

Tadaaaaaa! OMG liquid nitrogen mint chocolate ice cream. :D

Me: Babe, the liquid nitrogen ice cream is melting!

Suk: Errrr duh. It is still ice cream.

My jakun-ness never dies. I always have the perception that liquid nitrogen is some high tech ice cream that doesn't melt. *facepalm**

de happy BFF. 8 years and still counting.

:)

While on our way to Leisure Mall to celebrate Gaaya's farewell,

Me: Babe ya know what, we are lucky to be BFFs who never argue. Not even once.

Suk: Got. We argued.

Me: When? Why don't I remember?

Suk: We don't argue. We talk in a sarcastic manner.

I am glad to have her as a BFF and thank God John was back to Cranberra so that he won't be here to steal her away from me. :p

Welcome Back, Reality

Let it go, let it go,
Can't hold it back anymore,
Let it go, let it go,
Turn away and slam the door.

We (or maybe it's just me) are always too busy looking for things that are miles away and neglected those that are right in front of us. True nay? In my mind, I would often think that nahhh... I have ample of time but when the time comes, I panicked. I jumped up and down like a maniac searching for the right direction.

This time round, I consciously counted the days, hours and sometimes even minutes to ensure that I have created enough memory that will last in my forgetful brain for at least some time. When I looked out of the car window last night, the sky was turning from bright blue to gloomy blue. It means that reality is gonna hit right again.

Tomorrow onwards will be the time for me to leave the wonderland and gets back to reality that I am trying very hard to avoid. The best distractions that I can find are work, classes and more work. Welcome back, reality. We meet again.

Last Minute Work//Call Of Duty: Ghosts

It's CNY day 4 and I have not send in any of my scholarship applications. OMG. I just read that I need to submit certified true copies of transcripts. *pulls hair** Everyone is in CNY mood. Who is gonna be available in uni at this hour larh. Hang on, envelope and stamps too?! *drops dead on floor immediately** It is too much of a hassle to apply for one scholarship but finnnneeeeeee... I shall stop whining and do it tomorrow later.

*

Oh, did I mentioned that I have finally bought the new Call of Duty: Ghosts after dragging it for God knows how long. I liked the game immediately when I first tried it out on Bob's PS4. COD is first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward, Neversoft and Raven Software. After playing it for a day, I think it is even better than Battlefield 4. The COD graphics are so clear and smooth. Now I found a new reason to glue myself to the joystick. :) Personally, I think that the campaign is quite dull but the squad mode is fun especially when you are playing with a bunch of friends. :D

Done jakun-ing with my copy of COD. Time to get back to the applications. T________________T
