The Red Beanbag @ Publika

It always feel great when you have something good to look forward to after a tiring week. Had a dramatic week at work and I finally get to have a nice weekend sitting in a cozy cafe while enjoying a  nice cup of coffee. After having brunch with Nat, we planned to have our usual tea session (more like desserts thou). We drove all the way to Publika@Solaris Dutamas as I have always wanted to try out The Red Beanbag.

If you have not heard of it yet, The Red Beanbag is one of the best Australian-inspired cafe in KL that serves homemade kinda big breakfast and this place is famous for it's smooth-textured coffee. This place is cozy, inviting, with a warm ambience. Even though there is a short queue but we were pretty impressed with the good service.

Finallleehhh, we are here. The Red Beanbag. :)

The menu. The dark side includes a list of main courses that will make you drool. Too bad me and Nat were stuffed with cheese pizza before this or else we will definitely order something off the dark side.

The interior with it's signature beanbags hanging on the wall.

Nat is a big fan of nutella and so, we ordered this nutella mille crepe. The mille crepe cake is flavourful, moist and creamy, with a delightful array of textures.

My usual: mocha. RB's mocha has a hint of chocolate in it which makes it perfect for casual coffee drinkers like me who dislike bitter coffee. What I love in this cuppa coffee is its thick and creamy smooth texture. :)

The mind blowing dessert: Skyscrapper. Skyscrapper is a stack of fluffy pancakes topped with Canadian maple syrup and dark chocolate sauce, served with caramelized fruits. Loved the caramelized raspberries and now I know where to go to get my cravings fixed. :)

Me and the partner in crime.
