State of Denial

I am a firm believer in everything, well... I guess almost everything. I believed that things happened for a reason and behind that reason, there is an force or attraction or any scientific term that you would want to name it.

My iPod is gone for good and no matter how much I miss it, it would never crawl its way back to me and it feels like a part of me is missing. Damn those car buglars (I will never park in Pavilion ever again). I need my music all the time: when I take the train, drive, shop, study... basically I need it almost 24/7. I guess I would have to get a new iPod eventually.

As for now, I guess I would have to stop living in the state of denial.

“What was it like to love him? Asked Gratitude.
It was like being exhumed, I answered, and brought to life in a flash of brilliance.
What was it like to be loved in return? Asked Joy.
It was like being seen after a perpetual darkness, I replied. To be heard after a lifetime of silence.
What was it like to lose him? Asked Sorrow. There was a long pause before I responded:
It was like hearing every goodbye ever said to me—said all at once.”

Tea Buffet @ Thirty8, Grand Hyatt Hotel

Before uni reopens at the end of the month, I should enjoy all the good food in KL. No doubt, Thirty8 is famous for its dessert buffet and so, me and Suk decided to give it a try.

Thirty8 is located at the 38th floor at Grand Hyatt Hotel, comprises a 360-degree city view that allows you to dine while looking at the captivating views of KL city. The ambience of the restaurant is  pretty comfortable and relaxing. The place has two panels of huge glasses that allow natural sunlight to shine in. I guess I can just sit there while having a cuppa aromatic tea or coffee for an entire afternoon.

Thirty8, a chic venue for you to have a relaxing and quiet tea time.

JING earl grey, made from Ceylon leaves scented with bergamot and sprinkled with cornflowers.

Pastel colour macarons! I am a macaron lover but personally, I wasn't very fond Thirty8's macarons as they are flavourless.

de almond-macadamia nuts cupcakes.

de cheesecakes: dense, smooth and creamy textures with cookie crumbs for crusts.

de BFF with her chocolate cookie coffee.

The service here is great and if you are looking for good tea buffet with stunning views, Thirty8 should definitely be on the list. :)
